A Straight Path To A Brighter Tomorrow

Elim Primary School

Elim Primary School is located in the heart of the Kawangware slum in Nairobi and serves over 300 students. Its origins are humble and inspiring: two men, recognizing the need in their community, wanted to make a difference. With minimal resources, they started the school with a single structure made of corrugated metal walls, a metal roof, and a dirt floor.

Recent environmental changes have rendered many substandard structures that once served as schools in Kawangware uninhabitable. As a result, Elim Primary School has seen a significant influx of new students who have no other educational options. The necessities of these additional children have added to the challenges Elim Primary School was already facing. Please stands with us as we try to be a beacon of hope and opportunity for the children it serves.

DONATE

Today, Elim Primary School is a door of opportunity for hundreds of children who would otherwise be roaming the streets. For the hours they spend in school, they are safe from negative influences that can easily turn a child’s curiosity against themselves. Their minds are being opened to the possibilities of a future greater than what their environment may suggest.

However, as strong as their desire is to make a difference, ongoing challenges persist, common to depressed areas. They lack properly trained teachers, books, desks, food for the students, and a secure, comfortable building in which to learn.

The desire to learn and achieve greatness is in their hearts, but the resources to make it happen are lacking. You can make a difference. Become a part of what we are doing. Join us! Contribute, or send someone who is willing to go. Above all, pray for us and those we are serving.
