Goals
“Where there is a lack of knowledge, the people will perish.” The Yashar
Project exists to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone we meet. We
recognize that serving people in physical need includes helping meet those
needs. By nourishing the body and educating the mind, we hope to positively
influence lives and equip people spiritually to strengthen their families
and communities.
As we serve around the world, we seek to answer God’s call in the Great
Commission. We cannot solve every problem, but we can make disciples who
can make a difference. Here are some of our goals:
- Train and equip churches in relational discipleship.
-
Inspire moral awareness through life-changing camps, with curricula that
encourage spiritual and social awareness. -
Establish feeding centers to provide nourishment to people facing hunger
and malnutrition. -
Provide educational assistance to children and young people, helping them
build successful, self-sufficient futures. -
Organize high-quality medical missions that care for people who are sick
and provide health education. -
Help unemployed people build vocational and life skills, improve their
self-sufficiency, and increase their chances of finding and keeping
meaningful work. -
Partner with like-minded organizations that have proven experience in
their areas of focus, combining knowledge, talent, and resources to make
a positive impact.
